$200 Million IT Park to be built in Karachi with the help of EXIM
Islamabad: A Korean delegation of Export and Import Bank met Minister of Economic Affairs, Omar Ayyub Khan. A High-level Korean Delegation led by Mr. Chong Hwa Lee Director-General, Ministry of Economy and Finance Republic of Korea was on two days tour of Pakistan.
H.E Suh Sangpyo was also present at the meeting. A deal signed with EXIM concluded that EXIM will provide $158 Million for IT Park. The Government will build this IT Park in Karachi. The total cost of the Park is almost $200 Million.
Moreover, this is a great initiative to boost IT-related activities in Pakistan. While this will help the IT organizations to collaborate with each other and boost the activities. Already, Pakistan is focusing very much on increasing its IT exports.
