Bahria Town Chairman, Malik Riaz has rejected the propaganda against Bahria Town Karachi development charges. The rumors regarding 35% additional development charges surrounded the town. However, Malik Riaz shared a video message in social media clearing the confusion among masses.
As per video message, it is cleared that it is entirely a propaganda against Bahria Town Karachi. The news regarding additional development charges is false and baseless. Further, he said that the development charges is applicable for only one project, delivered in 2014. Under memorandum no. 26 and 27, the flats, houses and plots were delivered to the allottees in this project. Other than this project, all 13 projects are free from any such charges.
Speaking to Bahria Town Karachi residents, he said residents should not fall prey to any such propaganda. In order to resotre the trust, he mentioned those projects that are free from charges. It includes

He said that he is 100% studying proposals of the members of Bahria Town. He once again clarified in his video message that whatever Bahria Town gives assurance it will be fulfilled.
