First RVM for Recycling Plastic Bottles Installed in Islamabad

For the first time in Pakistan Reverse Vending Machine for Recycling Plastic Bottles is install in Jinnah Super Market, Islamabad.

The Reverse Vending Machine is capable of recycling plastic bottles on its own. Once we press the button displayed on the machine it opens up a slot for inserting bottles of any brand. Once the bottle is inserted into it, the machine makes it ready for the next step of recycling.

The government has been seen as very curious about managing plastic waste, this initiative is one of its kind and it will help in regards to fixing plastic waste.

Special Advisor to Prime Minister on Climate Change Malik Amin Aslam while addressing the audience present at the inauguration said “All of us will have to work together to truly address the plastic issue. The RVM machine is a way of making that connection with the public and encouraging them to recycle.”
