Kuwait lifts ban on visas for Pakistan:
The government of Kuwait announced after a decade to open up visas for Pakistani citizens. They have announced an immediate resumption of different visas for Pakistani people. These visas include both categories that are family visas and business visas.
Kuwait banned work and business visas for Pakistan back in 2011. Previous Governments attempted many times to lift up the ban but they were unable to get success.
Last week a meeting held between Pakistani Interior Minister Shiekh Rasheed Ahmed Khan and Kuwaiti Prime Minister Shiekh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah in which the Kuwaiti prime Minister announced to lift the ban on Visas for Pakistan. Kuwaiti Interior Minister Thamer Ali Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Kuwait Syed Sajjad Haider were also present in the meeting. This will help Pakistan to increase its foreign Remittances and to improve the economic growth of the country. Kuwait lifts ban on visas is definitely great news and surely it will open up new pathways for both countries.
